Intrinergy's clients are manufacturers with a high demand for energy, especially steam and electricity and a 24-hour/7-days-a-week operating schedule. These two examples demonstrate situations where an Intrinergy solution will immediately benefit the customer:s
Industrial Facility
A large industrial facility uses 75,000 lbs per hour of process steam and generates 25 tons per day of organic process waste that is sent to the landfill. Intrinergy would install fuel preparation equipment, fuel storage, gasification equipment, and a boiler to convert all of the facility's organic waste into clean renewable process steam and sell that steam to the host plant at a discount to its current cost of delivered steam. For this size operation, Intrinergy believes that it can deliver operating savings in excess of $1 million annually.
Process Facility
A large process facility consumes 500 million Btu/hour of fossil fuels to provide process heat and does not generate usable waste. Intrinergy would contract with outside suppliers to provide stable fuel supplies and would install fuel storage facilities, gasification equipment, and gas cleaning equipment if necessary. Intrinergy would then supply the facility with clean renewable gas at a discount to market.
